Mr. Strayhorn has been an International Banker for over 10 years assisting U.S. companies export goods throughout the world and financing foreign loans to buyers of American products, via the products of The Export-Import Bank of the U.S.

John has been a licensed private and Ex-Im Bank credit insurance agent and broker since 2000.

In 1986 John studied Chinese language and History at the Beijing Foreign Language Teachers College, Beijing, China.

In 1988 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Certificate in East Asian Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park.

John is a native of Bowie, Maryland. He founded Global Insurance Services in October of 2001 and currently serves as President.
